I don't know the chapter but i know the answer:

Einstein was deaf so he could not understand what was explained. He could'nt clarify his doubts. His teachers used to treat him in a way which was wrong.

One day he was sent home with a notice paper in which this was written:

YOUR TOMMY IS VERY STUPID TO LEARN GET HIM OUT OF THE SCHOOL

And his mother said that his tommy is not stupid to learn she would teach him herself.
