becoz first he listened that day with all his mind and presensce and secondly the teacher also taught with his full heart not like everyday else

After entering in the class Franz got to know that this was the last class of French. He started to realize how he had lost his time to study French. Also, he realized the importance of the mother tongue. Earlier he didn't like to attend the class because he took it as granted. After he got to know that he would not be able to attend the class anymore in the future, he paid much attention to the class. He used to attend the class because of the fear of M.Hamel and that day M.Hamel didn't give anyone punishment for not telling the answers.
