He was not very happy after a few days because he was very greedy and wanted the goose to lay more than one egg everyday....It was because he was tired of feeding the goose everyday..That costed him money and he thought that the goose would have a lot of eggs in its stomach so if he killed it, then he could have all the eggs at once without feeding it and taking care of it anymore...
