Helen Keller went to Niagara Falls in 1893. There, she felt the ‘air vibrate and the earth tremble’. However, people were always wondering  what Helen could comprehend about the natural beauty as she could neither see the waves rolling up the beach or hear their roar.

People were surprised to see Helen, as they thought that a girl who is blind and deaf cannot understand the majesty of the waterfall. However, she proved them wrong. She felt the vibration in the air and trembling of earth to see it instead of hearing and seeing it like other people.
