Hitler was frantically interested in the youth of the country. He felt that a strong Nazi society could be established only by increasing the number of 'good German' children and by teaching them Nazi ideology. He wanted to promote sports such as boxing among them.Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf of his hatred towards what he believed were the world's twin evils, namely communism and Judaism. He said his aim was to eradicate both from Germany and moreover stressed his intention to unite all Germans in the process of destroying them. The Hitler Youth took part in a range of activities, focusing on sports and physical ability. Examples of their activities include boxing and camping trips, instruction in National Socialist ideology, such as antisemitism and commitment to Hitler, and military training, such as shooting.
