Why was India Partitioned .Name the another country which was formed after partition.

dear friend India was partitioned because of the religious conflict between two major communities there the Hindus and the Muslims. but that doesn't mean that when the country partitioned they were completely in two different countries, Muslims were given a choice of choosing their country between India and Pakistan. Pakistan is the other country formed after partition.hindus were also free to choose but almost all of them choose India. some of the Muslims are in Pakistan some are in India. even though some hindu are also there in Pakistan but there number is trace.........so basically India partitioned because of the religious conflict which was actually a British policy "divide and rule" .for your kind knowledge Bangladesh is also a portioned from India (also known as east bengal)..............,I hope it helps in case it didn't you can comment .if you like it please mark it brainliest! !please
