as everyone know except auragzeb no Mughal ruler was staunchly Muslim ....so just to make their empire stable and make friendly relationship with rajputs,Indian Muslims,iranis,turanis,afghans etc they appointed them as mansabdar .Basically at that time rajputs were most powerful which can challenge Mughal power so every ruler from babur to shahjahan they made matrimonial alliances with rajputs .So basically we can say that to be not bad for anyone they recruited from different backgrounds so that no one could revolt against them
