It was not possible for Adivasis to merge due to their norms and culture.

  • Adivasis were not able to merge and get accepted due to the culture they followed.
  • Their language and convention unique in relation to the standard Indian culture  drives individuals to think about them as extraordinary, primitive and even backward.
  • Secondly, they were used to a way of life close to nature. Afforestation had further led  them to migrate to urban areas.
  • Here, they feel out of place and are not able to sync with the fast paced life  as it is vastly different from their countryside background.
