why was it not so much smoother back in the 80s without eletronics and phones ? and why were spending time with family is better back than, then be on eletronics and phones today ?

Because nowadays, Youth *doesn't get the time* to even meet their parents, they are so busy in their social life that they forgot that they also have a REAL life. And also Internet packages are so cheaper nowadays than compared to 5 years ago. That's also one reason.
