Kezia used to be afraid of her father because her father talked to her harshly. One day her grandmother told her to make a pin-cushion to gift him on his birthday which was approaching. for which she mistakenly took the pages of the speech of her father's sppech of the Port authority. Her father beat her and give punishment to her without forgiving. Other than it, he always noticed to took out mistakes inside her works

Kezia was afraid of her father because of his strict behaviour. He always gave commands to everybody else in the house. He never played with her. He had big hands and heavy face especially his mouth when he yawned were big and she was especially terrified with the manner in which he looked at her over his spectacles.
