Subbu never did anything, but the make-up boy did his everything to save the films from getting flopped.

Subbu had succeeded in securing a place closest to the the Boss. He was not so brilliant but rather a cheerful person whose loyalty made him close to the Boss. He had an advantage of being brahmin. Hence the other employees considered Subbu has no. 2 in Gemini studios.
