The Lokpal and Lokayuta Act of 2013 also known as the Lokpal act is an anti-corruption act of indian parliament that basically seeks to provide for the establishment of all the institution of Lokpai in order to inquire into the allegations of corruption against different public functionaries.
Eleven parliamentaries have been formed in order to discuss the Lokpal bill.
The reason why Lokpal and Lokayukta is constituted and the difference between two can be explained as follows :
•Lokayukta is an anti-corruption body which operates at a state level and it investigates an individual's complaint against public or other politicians against corruption.
•Lokpal is a body which operates at Central level to investigate the same as Lokayukta does against corruption.
•Lokayukta is appointed by a governor while Lokpal is appointed by the President of India.
•Lokayukta consists of three members and Lokpal consists of around eight members .
