Why was mid day meal scheme set out

It was set out because of the following few reasons:

1. So that children can get education (very imp.)

2. They can fulfill their one time food requirement properly.

3. This may teach them the lesso of unity.

4. They 're learning how to sit and eat their good nicely with someone.

Parents send their child in greed of food to school which benefits the child in many ways few 're mentioned above.
