As the people mint coins in their own house to gain profit, many of them couldn't find which is real or not, etc.
Explanation:
Because the people of his own territory mint coins in their own houses, which created much ruckus;as the merchants and foreign travellers couldn't find out that which coin is real and which is fake and the trade and commerce were majorly affected by this issue.

He introduced Token Currency. During 14th century, there was a shortage of silver throughout the world. He introduced copper coin at par with the value of silver coins which cause economic chaos. He then withdrew the copper coin and issues an order to the people to exchange copper coins with gold and silver coins from the royal treasury.
