Hello,

Muhammad-bin-Tughlaq was a learned man. He was a scholar of mathematics, philosophy, astronomy, logic, medicine and physical sciences. He was a poet and good orator. He had a sharp memory. He faced the Mongols attack in India during his regin. To ward off the danger he raised a large army and shifted the capital to Dauladabat a central location. To pay the army he introduced the concept of token currency. Both these steps were not implement properly. People misunderstood him, that this is why be is said to be an ill-starred idealist.
