Awesome as how Netaji continues to be in news 60 years after his mysterious death.

In a way this has been in defiance of successive Indian governments who would rather want the people to ignore him as they have.

BBC online election named Bose the third most famous leader in South Asia after MD Ali Jinna and Gandhi.

As per the same poll the stalwarts like Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and inimitable Atal Bihari Vajpayee don't even come on the track anymore.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose (1897 – 1945) was very good at disguises. This is evident from the fact that he moved from place to place with ease, even when he was under house arrest and wanted by the colonial British. He moved between Germany, Japan, Philippines, Burma and south-east Asian countries.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was a fiercely patriotic Indian Nationalist, though some question his ideals in teaming up with Nazi Germany during World War II, to rid India of the British.
