Newland is rejected because his octave was applicable to the classification of elements only upto calcium. He also said that there are only 56 elements exist in nature and no more elements would not be discovered in future. In this table put two elements together on one slot that is Cobelt and nikel. Iron which resembles cobalt and nikel in properties was placed far from these elements.
