Non Cooperation Movement was called off because of Chauri-Chaura Incident. ... He wished the movement to be violent free, and with the violence being stuck at chauri chaura, Gandhi had no other option than to call of Non Cooperation Movement. This was supposed to be the driving force of Non Cooperation Movement.
