Early humans were not Farmers, they lived off what the land had to provide as well as has to follow the migratory paths for hunting. There are still humans today that led nomadic lives for simular reason . They may have domesticated animals but they need to find grazing areas to feed them as well as themselves. Not only this they move to avoid enemies,and in search of food and water and fertile land to grow crops.
