C.V.Raman was a scientist at that time. When he heard that professor Crompton had won the Nobel prize he started thinking about the Crompton effect for which Crompton was awarded. when he was thinking, he got an idea of something x-rays which he completed with a very cheap instruments. he won the nobel prize for his invention of raman's effect. so he was evenly happy.
