rowlatt act was passed to stop the oppose of British government by the Indian Politician this act give the British government power to arrest any politicians or ordinary people on the basis of doupt Indians oppose it because it thinks that it give a opportunity to British government a chance to take over Indians politics or economically so the rowlatt Satyagraha was passed

hey mate here is your answer!!!

Rowalt was passed by british in which any indian or a person can be arrested without any trials .this was because of britishers could now arrest any one who offended them and goes against their law.

however indian nationalist were against of this law because they wanted to become free from britishers but by the passing of this rowalt act the indian nationalist couldn't do anything cause of being arrested without any trial.that is why indian were not in favour of this act.
