The Simon Commission was boycotted because-:
1. There was no Indian member included in this Simon Commission. All the members were Britishers.
2. It was formed to look into the constitution of India which was opposed by the Indians.
Thus, it was not welcomed ʙy ᴛʜᴇ ɪɴᴅɪᴀɴ

With the establishment of Tori government in Britain, they appointed Sir John Simon to write a constitution for India but surprisingly there was no single Indian involved in its making. People in India believed that this was meaningless as how could people in Britain would understand problems of Indians. So, they boycotted Simon commission with black flags when Sir John Simon arrived in India.
