why was Simon Commission rejected in India

sandew: The Simon Commission was opposed primarily because it did not have anyIndian representation in the assemblage. The government of Britain had appointed this Commission in 1927. The goal of the Simon Commission was to give an account of how the Indian constitution was working.

The Simon Commission was rejected because there was no a single Indian member in the Commission.

In 1927, the British Parliament appointed a seven member commission headed by Sir John Simon, that is why it was called Simon Commission. It was appointed to look into the working of Constitution for India. The Commission reached India in 1928. It was welcomed with black flags and slogans of 'Simon Go Back' because it was appointed to look into the working of Constitution for Indians but there was no Indian member to represent their aspirations and concerns.
