why was sun is not a planet

sun is not a planet because it emit the light of its own and a planet is a non luminous object hence it is a star not a planet

⏩ sun is not a planet because it have own light and only stars have own light ..

actually sun is a yellow gaint star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

⏩ every planet , comet, asteroid and all the objects in our Solar system revolves around the sun

and planet doesn't revolve around planet because of gravitational force and mass
so , sun is a star ..

⏩ sun revolves around milkyway Galaxy in 1billion years and only star revolves around the Galaxy ...
