In those days there were books about everything. Books were the Encyclopaedia of knowledge.There were books on all subjects - men as well as animals like from anteaters to Zulus. There were books on all kinds of art. Books taught people the how, when, where and why of things. That was why the 20th century was called the ‘Era of the book’ .
