Universal Declaration of Human Rights is important for implementing and monitoring human rights. The General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on 10 December 1948. It is a unique international document.
Article 27 of the Universal Declaration ofHuman Rights states that “everyone has the right freely to participate in the cultural life of the community, to enjoy the arts and to share in scientific advancement and its benefits.” ... Culture is fundamental to human dignity and identity.
