Why was the college closed on sunday
Answers
Explanation:
Because seven days a week would burn kids out. Even 150 years ago, people understood that building little corporate robots to burn their flames out in the mines wasn’t actually our goal as parents or human beings.
Second, Freedom of Religion. When a large percentage of the population won’t go to work or school on Sunday (and the second largest percentage won’t go on Saturdays), denying some accommodation to that at some point becomes ethnic and religious discrimination. School sports teams in much of America don’t have practices or games on Sunday for the same reason they’d never schedule a practice or game on Saturday in Manhattan or Dearborne Michigan. Our society has simply chosen that complete colorblindness does not generally mean transcendence of racism.
