why was the congress leadership unhappy with the peasant movement?

becoz the peasants movement was against the landlords and rich businessmen. these landlords used to provide financial support to the congress and the nationalists movements.  if the congress supported the peasants then it would have lost the support of the landlords. so the congress was unhappy with the peasants movements.
