Bastille was a prison. But however only seven people were kept in it. Everybody hated bastille.It was King Louise 16 rule. He only collected taxes from third estate people but not first or second estate people. Third estate people comprised of merchants,businessman,poor labourers etc.. But first estate people were clergy and second estate people were nobility.
