Explanation:

Green revolution was only implemented in some of the districts like Punjab and Haryana .It benefited those areas very much .But it in rest of the states it was a failure.

Green revolution includes the use of chemical fertilizers and HYV seeds to get more production.

But later after the continuous use of these chemicals soil lost its fertility.

Eventhough it made initial gains but later it posed problems to the people.As a result of less fertility, the production also decreased.
