Why was the Indian constitution adopted on 26th January 1950 though it was completed on 26th November 1949? ​

Indian leaders wanted poorna swaraj..so under the leadership of jawahar lal nehru in lahore session it was declared that 26th jan would be celebrated as independence day though it didn't happened but it had a keen significance in the history of india so though the constitution was formed n drafted on 4nov but came into force on 26th jan as it had a deep significance in Indian struggle for freedom
