The name of the invisible man was Griffin, a scientist. He was wandering in the streets as he didn't liked hi landlord or owner of the house, so he burnt the house and left it. He was homeless so he removed clothes from his body and wandered in the streets.

The Scientist was a lawless person which means he did not care about other persons as long as he is happy and satisfied.
