Turkey suffered injustice at the hands of the British after the First world war. Ali brothers- Mohammad Ali and Shaukat Ali, started the Khilafat movement against the British to undo the injustices. later on, under the leadership of Gandhiji, the Khilafat movement became a part of the Indian national struggle.
