लखनऊ समझौता सन 1916को मुस्लिम लीग को पारित किया गया। जिन्ना और गांधी जी के बीच जिन्ना कांग्रेस का समर्थन करता था लेकिन उसने गांधी जी द्वारा चलाए गए असहयोग का विरोध किया एवं जिन्ना ने मुस्लिम के अधिकारों की बात की एवं देश के बंटवारे की नींव पड़ती हैं
