*⭐on 5 may 1789 Louis 16 called an assembly of estates generals . voting for the estates general in the past were conducted for each state as whole
*⭐ The third estate demanded for individual votes
*⭐ Louis 16 refused to fulfill their demand
*⭐ As a result the people being annoyed ran out of meeting and declared themselves as national assemble
*⭐ On 20 june 1789 they locked themselves in the indoor tennis court and swore not to go out of it till the constitution is drafted...
