Answer:

mark as brainlest

Explanation:

India has adopted democratic form of Government due to following reasons:

1)The British Colonial Rule over India was founded on the British Model of Parliamentary Democracy which gradually matured for more than a century.

2)The Britishers had subdued all the existing Kings/Rulers of India and thus uniting the India under Rule of Law (though in principle only).

3)The western educated Indians liked this model and followed it as a basis of their struggle seeking more and more association and participation of Indians in the Governance of the nation initially which developed into the demand of complete Independence.

4)The Indian leadership was already trained and people of the nation have the understanding of the democracy due to the British Rule. Further, it provided a better solution to integrate and unite the fragmented nation into a stronger nation as Nationalism was aroused through these ideals.

5)The Constituent Assembly decided it. It was also there in the Government of India Act, 1935 which was prepared with consultative process with all the stakeholders of various communities.
