The plant is kept in dark room for destarching i.e. to remove the strach stored in the plants.... Then the plant is kept under sunlight to make the plant perform photosynthesis.... ... The leaf which is kept in bottle with potassium hydroxide didn't show presence of starch that shows photosynthesis didn't occur...
