Because the daughter of postmaster was got married and was going to his husband's home for the whole life. At that time postmaster understood the feeling of Ali who always went to post office and asks for his daughter's letter but now postmaster understood the feeling of being dispersed from her daughter and now when a letter was sent by Merriam(Ali's daughter) was seen by the postmaster and he was very keen to give this letter to Ali.
