Why was the Sales Man Surprised?

It’s not really surprising…but when doing a time share presentation there is the “presentation”, then someone asks where you would like to go and tries to convince you of purchasing, and then their is a “closer” when you say no to make sure that you are really sure that you don’t want to buy into their wonderful opportunity. They don’t make leaving easy. As a side note, I used to live in Las Vegas and did many of these “presentations” for the freebies, but I threw their hard sale right back at them. When they asked where I wanted to go I said South Plainfield, NJ. Of course I already knew that there wasn’t a timeshare within 2 hours of this town. I used to work for a timeshare swapping company which is separate from the time shares. When they said that I could swap my week out for another week somewhere else I asked to see what the weeks would swap out for in real time. Typically, someone who has a week in say… Atlantic City… has trouble swapping for something in Hawaii. Of course I also knew that they couldn’t back up what they were telling me that I “could swap out for anywhere.”
