The system of classification of elements into triads was not found suitable because -
- The identification of new elements made this model useless.
- All the known elements could not be arranged as Triads.
- It is not applicable to d and f-block elements.
- The newly discovered elements did not fit into the Dobereiner's triad.
- The law did not apply to the elements having low or high atomic mass.
