Tennis court oath was the first step towards the french revolution.
Actually due to the financial crises of the country , there was regular meeting between the all three states , But somehow third states clashes with other result in the movement in which the representatives from the third states decided to separate .
As the result , separated member take the oath at a tennis court on the june 20 in the year 1789. Where they decided to make the a constitution of their own for the France. And promised to be meet here again and again until it is done.
This was the beginning of the french revolution that's why this event is of utmost importance for french revolution.
