Tennis Court Oath

       The king of france decided to increase tax .So by convention ,king called the assembly of estate general to get permission .

At the assembly ,louis 16th did accept their request.At this movement the representatives of third estate walked out from the assembly and  and came to the open ground of versailles   and formed the 'National Assembly ' took tennis court oath  

   

By this oath they swore that they will not disperse till they have drafted a constitution to france which would reduce the power of king.

     

 Later the king was forced to give his powers to this assembly.
