As he hunts and eat the people it is called herd robber. And in lieu of his age, he was old and fragile so they called him vulnerable.

Dear friends, the tiger in Mrs. Packletide’s Tiger is named as ‘herd-robber’ and ‘venerable’.

Mrs. Packletide’s Tiger is a story about the hunting of a tiger by Mrs. Packletide. The author has dealt the story in a humorous manner.

Mrs. Packletide decided to shoot a venerable tiger. The tiger is named ‘herd-robber’ because it kills other domestic animals. It is old and weak. So, it is assumed to be given respect. That’s why it is called ‘venerable’.
