It lost one-tenth of its population.
13% territories were lost, 75% of iron was lost, 26% coal resources were lost. 
The power of Germany reduced when it was demilitarized by the allied powers.
Germany was asked to pay a compensation of 6 billion pounds telling it was responsible for the war and guilt accuse.
Resource-rich land, Rhineland was occupied by Allied powers.
