There are many reasons

#There was a war in Srilanka bcuz there were linguistic problems
#Sinhalas were given University positions whereas the tamils were discriminated
#Special status was given to sinhalas
#70% of d land belonged to sinhalas nd only 18% was giveb to d tamils

These were d reasons which led to a war in sri Lanka nd it's still going on.
