why was there the worried expressions on grandmother's face from the chapter how I taught my grandmother to read

because she doesn't know how to read the Kannada. So she could not read her daily magazine. She was illiterate. She was dependable person to know the story. So her grand daughter reads for her. So she wants to learn Kannada.
