Bruce Hallam was a famous English cricketer. He was touring India and agreed to play a charity match in India. But he went to bed with an upset stomach before evening and could not catch the train. He sent a Telegram but the association did not receive it. When Uncle Ken arrived at the station he was mistaken for Bruce Hallam as he looked very much like him. He even had a bald patch on the crown of his head. Hence the confusion.
