Heya!!

◆First of all let me clera that when you say boiling point of water is 100 ℃ that means water will boil at 100℃ .

●If it is at atmospheric pressure. So boiling point of water will depend on the atmispheric pressure of water.

●Now, when you go up on the hills the pressure will decrease so the water will start boiling below ℃ .

And if the pressure of water is increased then it will start boiling above 100.

At heigher altitudes the concenteration of gasses decreases and that is why it is hard to breathe at higher altitudes.

♦So with concenteration or density of gasses decreasing while going higher, the atmospheric pressure decreases and that’s the main point.

♦A liquid boils when its vapour pressure becomes equal to the atmospheric pressure.

So lower the atmospheric pressure lower will be the boiling point . Hence water boils at temperature less than 100°C.

☺☺Hope this helps☺☺
