WHY WATER HYANTICH FLOATS ON WATER

There are tissues called parenchyma. In water plants these tissues have large ari spaces in them which provide bouancy and help the plant to float on water.

water hyacith floats on the water due to presence of arial parenchymatous tissue. this tissue contians large amount of air spaces in them which make it float on the water
