why water is not added with acid​

Water is not added to acid because if we will add water to acid the amount of heat produced will be more. Also the container can break down.

WATER IS NOT ADDED TO ACID BUT ACID IS ADDED TO WATER

dillution of acid is highly exothermic so its is dillutted by adding it slowly to water with continues string. if water to  acid it will led to high heating at a point which may lead to the splashing out of acid which may lead to serios injuries
